Pabbo Ke!

I realized how much I miss some of my friends already. Usually I have Elizabeth to talk to later in the day about random life hazards and social ills. In the day, I would have Sally and the rat pack to joke around with.

I don't get to see Melissa as much anymore, and not at all this week because we usually see each other at school now. Oh well, just a few more days and school starts again.

Right now, I don't think anyone reads my posts unless I tell them to, so I guess it's just me and my blog.

Oh, might I make a note: Morning walks with Clara are pretty chill. Clara seems to be a different person in the morning, or when it's just you and her.

Kevin Khang's grandma is making us food now because she thinks we're going to their house everyday, and so far...we have! haha

When God Writes Your Love Story

"Out teammates can help us determine whether of not a relationship is from God based on the fruit they see in our lives as a result of the relationship. If the relationship is drawing us away from God and other priorities, we need to seriously reevaluate things. However, if the friendship or relationship is drawing us closer to God and producing godly fruit in our lives, that is a way of knowing that it might be something God Himself has put together." --When God Writes Your Love Story

Wow, what a good concept to remember. There are many relationships that we are drawn into, and I see a lot, but we never really know if it's form God or not and this is a good indication.

From now on, I think I'll let God write up the Love script for me, married or not married, I don't mind. God has great plans for all of us, so let's let his script be put into action! For a God so loving and compassionate, he is the romance of life! He knows what we need, and he will not allow us to be satisfied by 2nd rate guys/gals.

Ask yourself, the things you are doing now, will your future husband/wife appreciate these things? Flirting and allowing yourself to give away your treasure a little by little..how much will you have left for your future spouse at the end? There's people that are so heartbroken by so many romantic escapades that they no longer value pure love and restrict themselves to the standards they left off.

I urge everyone, not only to have sexual abstinence, but to keep them pure, I know I'm going to try hard don this one from now on. =)

Water down romance vs Pure Love, and pure love can only come from the Greatest Love of all, Jesus Christ.

God Bless.

What a Banana

I basically talked with Kwang and apologized for everything, and I mean everything. He literally made me point out everything even things I don't remember, and things I didn't do and apologize. What did he do? Just that, and no apologies on his part. FINE, as long as I can repent and take back what I said about him, or the things I've done. Really, I felt free after that.

Well, I jsut found out he's been hanging out with friends of (ours) and they never invite me and a reason why is because he told them not to. Why? It would be awkward.

Well, I'm not angry, but maybe I feel more bitter than anything else. I've decided to shun him in all the things I do. Not literally, but I'm going to stop asking MY friends to invite him to anything and let them decide.

This man is stubborn, hypocritical, and he's also selfish. Ah, the things I dislike the most.

Well, seems like it's just me going to Baptism class, but that's okay, it does take time and I commend David and Leslie for their decision.

BTW, I love randomly talking to my friends for hours long and not only is it just about school and 'What should we do tomorrow?" but also about our families and our lifestyles.

Anyway, God Bless Everyone!

Thought Curry

What's on my mind:
I want to know my friends more, especially those that I don't really know-know..haha.

Yes, Leslie, we should talk more. By the way, I didn't finish my sentence. What I meant by, I don't want to be your Christian friend, I also want to be your mentor and brother, and vice versa--although you would be a sister and not a brother of course..

Positive Report
  • With some prayer and persistence, I am able to drop my 1st period Psychology Class and move 7th period Statistics to 2nd, and AP Government to First! This is so I can attend Adult school from 3-5:00 so I don't have to miss Choir Rehearsals, and rush to La Puente and still be late.
  • I slept from 5:00-9:30 and I feel really good now after the lack of sleep and sores all over from the hiking and boxing last weekend.
  • Winter Formal Pictures came out, although I need to get them from Caitlin.

Prayers
  • Permit Test this Friday.
  • Baptism Class with David and Leslie this Sunday after church.
  • Birthday Hang-out this Sunday.
  • Production Choir will be performing at Cabaret Night and also in competition at the Arcadia Competition in three weeks. We only have a few hours of rehearsing left.
  • The Band room to be cleaned.
  • My phone bill! haha, stupid texting! *Do not text me, it costs money!
  • Conquerors for Christ is growing! I hope this is not only a trend, but also widespread in this community.
Facing your giants.
  • Max Lucado talks about how each of us face our own giants in our own lives.
  • What are some of the giants you've faced?
  • Did you focused more on God or the problem itself?
  • Are you thinking about God's strength more than your own weaknesses throughout the day?

Seeking Love

A girl should be so lost in God that a guy will have to be seeking the Lord to find her.

1 Corinthians 13

Love is patient,
Love is kind.
It does not envy,
It does not boast,
It is not proud.
It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
But rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
Always trusts,
Always hopes,
Always perseveres,
LOVE NEVER FAILS.

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
